I almost forgot to post this:
It´s a little stop-motion video in which´s creation I took part this summer, together with Wolfram (who at the moment lacks a website), Florian Huth and Barbara Herold.
We shot the film in a big, empty house on the "Domagkgelände" in Munich, where we could paint everything just as we pleased. So I got a huge white wall in a gorgeous, spacious and light room with wooden floor and high ceilings, and the trees and the little black creature are mine. I had another ending to the first part in mind, though. The one in the film was forced upon me!
The house used to be one with studios for artists, by the way. I´d have loved to have one in there! You´re not officially supposed to really live there on the Domagkgelände, but it´s tolerated. There are a lot of houses like this, many of them still in use. It´s just around the corner and the place where the other three live/used to live. There are many nice parties and exhibitions, or just barbecue most summer evenings.
It´s the largest artists' colony in Europe, but it´s supposed to be knocked down to make way for yet another big supermarket(!) or a few of them. That´s such a pity, especially in a place like Munich where the very most of other places are posh and polished.
Oh, and the name´s "Karl Hector & The Malcouns - Sahara Swing" because we made it a music video for just this band (who´s also living there).
